Comma separates word searches: things, you will search for songs with both "things" and "you" in the title.

Double quotes will search for exactly what's inside the double quotes: "things you are" will search for all songs with the exact phrase "things you are" in the title.

In order to search for commas in a title, you need to surround it with double quotes.
